Full and fun

It's late and I can already tell I am not in the right frame of mind, a.k.a. I am ready stop thinking for the day, to give this day all the details and emotions it really needs.

It started out with a bit of sleeping in, as much as someone with four young children can get anyway.

A work out.

Finishing a craft.

Tidying the house.

Taking Karaia to a birthday party.

Than on to the really fun stuff.

Candace took everyone to Disney on ice. To say Sanders and Tennyson were memzmerized by the show would be an understatement. Tennyson kept his eyes toward the stage for most of the show. I think he was afraid to miss any of it.

Sanders was amazed to see the animated characters he knows and loves move in real life. He kept pointing them out and getting really BIG eyes.

Karaia loved pointing out all of the special effects to make sure I didn't miss any of the little details. She knows I like that sort of thing.

And Beckham didn't say one word because he was way to busy enjoying the show. And knowing Beckham, you know that meant he was REALLY enjoying the show.

I love watching my children experience Disney magic. There is nothing else like it.

Thank you Grandma Candace!!!! We had the best time!

PS.   Can someone please send me a picture of you with all the grandkids. I forgot to hand someone my camera.

By the time we got home we had just enough time to do a bit more tidying, make dinner, and then Kevin and I went out on a, as Karaia likes to put it, "hot" date. And yes, she does do air quotes when she says it. She also rolls her eyes. I can't wait to do that to her when it's her turn to have a "hot" date. I'm taking notes so I can do it as much justice as she gives it.

We went out to dinner with my mom's side of the family. As always the company, food, and conversation were perfect.

Afterward we went to Desert Star Theater. Mom and Dave got us season tickets. It is such a good excuse to get everyone together outside of our month dinner gatherings. And the shows are usually hilarious. Thanks Mom and Dave!

A quick stop at the grocery store before we came home. For some reason Kevin and I always end up at a store at the end of our dates. Huh.

And now we are home.

That's all folks.

See I told you I wasn't in the right frame of mind to write something decent about this day. It was SUCH a great day too. I know I didn't convey that very well.

Oh well, it's late. Just take my word for it. Memories were made, people! And darn good ones too!

You can wake up now from the sleep comma I just put you in.

What is it about Disney? Did you cry? I always get choked up when we do things like this with the girls. Involving Disney magic just intensifies it for some reason.

Yes, I did tear up. I can't experience Disney and not have at least one misty moment.

I thought you portrayed the Disney magic perfectly...almost made me want to go to Disney on Ice and that is really saying something!
