I have a few people in my life who are just SO darn productive. It amazes me. I don't know how they do it and be moms and keep their houses clean, etc. It's like I can focus on one area and that's it.

I can be creative, or I can be a great mom, or I can keep a clean house, or whatever. Try and combine any of those things and none of them goes very well. What's the deal?!?!?

Am I the only one like this.....?

Hmmmm, maybe I don't want to know.

Sorry to say I'm like that too! There's so much I want to do - knit, scrapbook, photography - but there doesn't seem to be enough time between working and trying to "keep house" and being tired at the end of the day!

Even though I'm sure I'm on that super productive people list you mentioned, don't worry, even we feel the same way. :) :)

If you think someone is perfect, you probably don't know them well enough and don't compare your weaknesses to someone else's strengths--totally unfair way of keeping score in life. But wait, it's not a race or a game. We're here to do the best we can and we've all been given different personalities and talents with which to do that so there's really no good way to compare. Don't even bother. Now, to take my own advice because I feel the same way you do. . .

Love ya, Em. You're great and amazing and you accomplish things the rest of us only can in our dreams.

Yes to all the above mentioned. Luckily, your kids are getting older so they can help in the house cleaning situation and you can focus on being the great and creatavie mom that you are. That is irreplaceable and worth more than a clean toilet.:0)
