It's surprising how quickly pride wounds heal when you are faced with things that actually matter. A cousin of Kevin's just lost their premature son.
It is nearly impossible to dwell on menial events in your life when family is dealing with true hardships. I cannot even imagine how hard this is for them, but what a beautiful testimony.

Wipe the tears. I had a really hard time reading that considering what I was blessed with this week. My prayers are going out for them as I can't begin to imagine how difficult that would be.
